Rose & Rust is a RHS Chelsea Flower Show award winning garden product design brand founded by Sonny Banham and based at The Old Rose Nursery in East Sussex.
The nursery has been in Sonny’s family since 1966, supplying roses to gardens across the UK and Europe, and helping shape Sonny’s lifelong connection to gardens, materials and outdoor design.
Founded in 2017, Rose & Rust designs, produces and retails a carefully considered collection of contemporary garden products, with a strong focus on Corten steel. Known for its durability and rich natural patina, Corten steel sits at the heart of the brand’s work, bringing warmth, texture and depth to outdoor spaces. Alongside the core collection, Rose & Rust also creates bespoke pieces made to measure, including water features, retaining walls, planters, garden pods and garden stores. The brand’s pods and stores are also available with living roofs, bringing an added layer of softness and planting to their architectural form.
Most products can also be produced in aluminium and finished in any powder coated RAL colour, allowing the designs to suit a wide range of architectural settings. Working with garden designers, landscapers, architects and private clients, Rose & Rust is known for well made architectural garden products defined by strong materials, refined detailing and timeless design.
